Anyone know anything about being a certified nurse’s assistant?

Well I currently attend a jr college. I'm majoring in nursing. I'm planning to transfer to San Francisco State. So with that... I'm concidering to take training classes at another jr college to become a CNA (at the same time as the other jr college). I heard it takes about 12 weeks to become one. I think it would be good for my resume later on and also for my own experience.
Do you think it's a good idea to do that? Btw, what classes would I be taking?

I hope you understand that a cna basically cleans up shit, piss, and vomit, they do all the dirty jobs ...basically they are just nursing assistants, it is a very difficult job, if you have a weak stomach and hate cleaning up people who shit on themselves

I am in nursing school in Ohio. After my first semester I got a job at my first clinical site as a Nurse Tech for the experience. I know that most hospitals will hire nursing students to work without having to become a CNA. I know here in Ohio different hospitals use different titles for my job such as Nurse Tech or Clinical Assistant. If you already have finished your first semester then you should look into hospitals in your area to see what positions are available to you as a nursing student. I work PRN which allows me to work when I’m not in school. The experience is wonderful and also look into whether or not they will offer you a sign on bonus or tuition assistance. I was offered $ 5,000 to help with tuition for a one year commitment when I’m done with school. I hope this helps, if you have any other questions let me know. Best of luck to you.

certified old people poop helper, poop cleaner,heavy body turner which is real nice on a hot day trust me bypass this step in becoming anything with substance the only thing it will help you in is knowing how you a. don’t want to be treated and b. don’t want to treat others trust me this is a perfectly good step not to venture into and the cna class is just that you do not have to take english or math requirements you just have to be able to lift bodies and clean poop oh so much poop.
